‘American Mission Hospital (AMH) Colon Cancer Walk-A-Thon’.

The 3km walk – from Dohat Arad walkway in Muharraq – is open to all above 11 years of age. It will be held on March 23 at 4pm.

المسافة:3 كيلومتر

التسجيل:2:30 حتى 3:45 عصرا في الممشى

رسوم الدخول:2دينار للدخول مع الفانيلة

الأعمار:مفتوح للجميع من سن 11 سنة فما فوق

سيتم استخدام جميع لبتبرعات و العائدات لهذة الفعالية لإجراء فحوصات شاملة ل1000 مريض و سيتم البدء بعمل التحاليل في مايو ثم متابعة النتائج بإستشارة أخصائيين و مناضير في مستشفى الإرسالية الأمريكية و التي ستكون مجانية على حسب استدعاء الحالة

More than 1,000 patients are expected to benefit from donations collected through the ‘American Mission Hospital (AMH) Colon Cancer Walk-A-Thon’.

The 3km walk – from Dohat Arad walkway in Muharraq – is open to all above 11 years of age. It will be held on March 23 at 4pm. 

Those interested are required to pay BD2 for participation. 

Registration opens on the day of the walk from 2.30 to 3.45pm at the venue.

AMH is also planning to launch a ‘Helping People Battle Colon Cancer’ awareness campaign.

The screening for colon cancer patients will initiate after the funds are collected.

The screenings will start with a stool analysis at various social centres in Bahrain, followed by a consultation at the AMH with a gastroenterologist and a colonoscopy will be provided free of cost, if needed.
