الحياةُ يومَ ترتكبها في مكانٍ ما على شكل أغنيّة، والحلم بغاباتٍ صوتيّة شاسعة تعرف البحرَ والنخلَ والرمال، والموسيقى طرّية لا تنام ولا تمرّ بها الريح دون أن تعرفها، أي وجهٍ أكثر قربًا من أغنية واحدة، تقبل القسمة على الجماعة وتشبه ما نحفظه عن الأوطان والشعوب والأحلام؟

اللحن الشعبيّ الجميل، والسماعيّات الموسيقيّة التي تحكي الأوطان بمسير الأغنية والإيقاع، تتنفّس مساءاتها تباعًا، ولا تكتفي بجهات أربع، بل تنبت اليوم في مواقعها الخمسة بفرحٍ متأنٍ وصوتٍ قديم يدير الحنجرة ناحية أغانٍ لم تنم، وضحكات تعود إلى الزمن الجميل، يومَ كان الناس يقفون للرقص، ويصفّقون لوقعِ الكلمة، ويعيشون الفرحَ ويعرفون وجوه بعضهم لأن الأغنية تُلزِمهم بالابتسام والصّدق.

الثقافة الآن، تحمل مسارحها ومواقعها في فرقٍ شعبيّة وأغنيات أصيلة وعروض بحرينيّة قديمة، وتتركُ لها في كل جهة/ محافظة بيتًا للفرح، في مساحات مفتوحة على الهواء النقيّ، وطربيّات الزمن الجميل ما بين البحرِ والنخلِ، وذلك كل خميس وجمعة في:

» موقع متحف قلعة البحرين – المحافظة الشماليّة.

» بيت الشيخ عيسى بن علي آل خليفة – محافظة المحرق.

» قلعة الشيخ سلمان بن أحمد الفاتح – المحافظة الجنوبيّة.

» موقع باب البحرين – محافظة العاصمة.

» ممشى مدينة عيسى – المحافظة الوسطى.

The Ministry of Culture is planning to launch an amazing showcase of Bahrain's folk music comprised of a series of open-air shows at some of Bahrain's most prominent historical and cultural sites. The shows are among the many activities planned during the leisure tourism season of the Ministry's year-long Manama, Capital of Arab Tourism 2013, program.The performances will not only entertain residents and visitors and boost tourism and trade, but will also serve as a vehicle to educate the masses and preserve Bahrain's rich tradition of folk music and dance which forms an integral part of the country's culture and identity. The events, performed by well-known folk bands in Bahrain, will show traditional songs and dances performed to commemorate important events, including economically important activities such as the pearling, harvest, and fishing seasons, and socially significant events such as weddings and religious festivals.One location from each of the country's five governorates was selected to serve as a picture-perfect backdrop for the shows, and they are:

Bahrain Fort Site Museum - Northern Governorate

Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa House - Muharraq Governorate

Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort - Southern Governorate

Bab Al Bahrain - Capital Governorate

Isa Town Walkway - Central Governorate
