Sunrise Yoga - 7 day course
Starting on 17 March 2012
Learn the true meaning of yoga in a palatable and fun way. Start on your unique path in yoga in an interactive, provocative and engaging sessions. Learn:
• What is yoga?
• Introduction to Ayruveda
• Find out your dosha (genetic constitution) and learn what to eat, how to exercise to balance your dosha
• Basic pranayama and 5 pranayama sequences to control the 5 energies of the body
• The eight limbs (pillars) of yoga
• Yoga meditations
• 7 themed asana classes to target body parts one at a time for maximum benefit and opening
The course will be delivered in English with minimal Arabic translation to those who need it.
Who?
You are invited to attend this course and to bring one (or more) friends that you think need a jump start on a new lifestyle. Consider this a gift that you give to yourself and others for 2012. The only thing that is required of you is devotion. It does not matter if you have already started your yoga path and would like to deepen it or if you have never done yoga or did very little of it and want to understand and experience it. This course is designed to help you in either case. Don't stress about getting it all, you will grow depending on your starting point and "what is yours will stick".
This course is open to both men and women.
Why?
Yoga is a wonderful tool for self discovery, there are many modern medicine research on the physical and mental benefits of yoga but yoga is also a tool that provides continuous satisfaction as it facilitates a chance for growth.
When?
The course will be every Saturday (6:30am to 9:30am) starting 17th Mar over the course of 7 weeks
