يعكس المهرجان تطور التراث كلغة ثقافية تربط الناس رغم تباين خلفياتهم الاجتماعية والاقتصادية، وسيحتفل مهرجان التراث هذا العام بالتراث البحريني من خلال انعكاساته على البيئة وجلسات حوار باللهجة المحلية وعرض مسرحي وفعاليات للأطفال وورش العمل بالإضافة إلى عرض أزياء للأطفال.

Reflecting on the development of heritage as a cultural language which binds people despite their different socio-economic backgrounds, the Heritage Festival will celebrate Bahrain's heritage this year through a reflection on environment, local speaking engagements, a theatrical performance, children's events and workshops in addition to a children's fashion show.
