في هذه المجموعة، يتطرق الفنان حمزة الى موضوع العادات والتراث بإستخدام تقنية الطباعة الرقمية. الأعمال الفوتوغرافية مشحونة بالإيحاءات والأساطير ومسألة الاختلافات بين الجنسين في العالم الإسلامي. وفي تركيب الصورة إعتمد على الضيِّق والفسيح، الأسود والأبيض، المضيء والمظلم، الجهير والخافت الصوت، للدلالة على الإختلافات في الموضوع الذي يبحث عنه، من خلال صور لنساء من المنطقة العربية. تعتبر هذه التجربة نقد ذاتي في قراءة التراث. 

وأما المجموعة الثانية من الأعمال باستخدام الخط والذي إشتهر به حمزة، وتستند أعمال حمزة الفنية الى مراجع ومواضيع كالعرق والهوية والألوان وعلامات يستخرجها من فنّ الخط العربي فتتشابك في ما بينها وتولّد أشكالاً قديمة وقوالب أولية وهندسة جديدة للحروف المتعلقة بمدرسة الفنون الحروفية. وتربط هذه الحركة الفنية ما بين الطابع التقليدي والعصري من جهة والحروف والإشارات من جهة أخرى، فتسلّط الضوء على الحرف كشكل فنيّ إذ لا يُدرَك معناه عبر القراءة أو فكّ الرموز. 

In this exhibition, Hamza tackles the issue of traditions, heritage and innovations dominating the Arab mind with his new photography artworks. The works are charged with symbols, connotations and legends and portray the gender differences in the Islamic world. Images of Women are used with an atmosphere that is used to show the black and the white, the wide and the narrow as well as the loud and the faint thus creating a stage for his photography installations. The artworks are self criticism of the reading and practice of tradition.


The artist will also present some of his works that are painted on Plexiglass using elongated Arabic letters, with movements of colors that overlap and gain space among the elements. Hamza uses mystic scripture with a thicker texture of colors to resemble a dance. Earthly colors, black or gold like the sun, sprinkled with white and blues are used to highlight his oriental background.
