Not only is has the event raised loads of awareness and funds but it has always been tons of fun to attend (we do the number sign raising and the "going once, going twice, GONE!". You can bid on services or second hand high value items. So far we have a number of interested items donated to us including: 1. Professional photo shoots 2. Reiki treatments 3. Private Yoga classes 4. Original Paintings 5. Art Therapy sessions 6. Designer bags 7. Bakery Classes 8. Pilates Classes 9. Makeup application 10. Designer clothing/bags/shoes If you would like to participate, this is how you can help: 1. You can donate your time to offer a service around a talent that you have. Think of your skills and how you can give back either by teacher or performing those skills. 2. You can donate valuable items that can be auctioned (in the past years we had original paintings, designer bags, DVD and book collections etc). 3. You can donate old items that you do not need, clothes, toys, cookware, electronics, anything you no longer use. We will not be auctioning these off but we will make sure they go to the families in need. 4. Show up! Bidding on an item is always great help, you'll be giving yourself a treat while still giving back to those in need. There will also be forms available for you to sponsor orphans or kids in needy families, the payment is monthly and the amount is very affordable to most of us but it does make a huge difference in those kids' lives.
