In her latest album, Sonata for Love, Jahida Wehbe’s lyrics are the lines
of famous poets Pablo Neruda, Mahmoud Darwish, Adonis, Talal Haidar
and Forough Farrokhzad amongst others.
With her deep and powerful voice that permeates the soul, Wehbe will
present the world première of Sonata for Love in Bahrain accompanied
by a sextet, conducted by the famous Qanun player Osama Abdulrasol
who supervised the album’s production, distributing it alongside Dyck
Van der Herst and Philippe Thuriot.
