في خطاب الفن الجميل المستمر لاستدعاء حالات الإنسان، وتمرير تأملاته الحياتية الفريدة، معرض البحرين السنوي للفنون التشكيلية، يتمرّد على الصياغات المعنونة، ويطلق في فضائه التاسع والثلاثين ذاكرة تأريخية وفنية جماعية، تتجاور فيها الأجيال الفنية المختلفة والقراءات الإبداعية برعاية سامية من صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة رئيس الوزراء الموقر الذي تستمر متابعته ودعمه لهذا المشروع الفني منذ انطلاقته في العام 1972م. ويُقام هذا المعرض كعادته بقاعة متحف البحرين الوطني وذلك في السادس عشر من شهر يناير ضمن فصل "السياحة الثقافية" ببرنامج "المنامة.. عاصمة السياحة العربية للعام 2013م".

حرّر معرض البحرين السنوي للفنون التشكيلية ذاتيته هذه المرة من أي عنوان أو تصنيف للجدلية الفنية داخل أروقته، مستلهمًا حالات الفنان بتجريدها وعفويتها، ومحاولاً التركيز على الذاتية الخاصة للأجيال الفنية المختلفة المشاركة، مما يحوّل هذا التراص الفني إلى متجاورات ثقافية منفصلة الموضوع، ولكنها تشرح هذه الفوضى البشرية والاختلاف الإنساني في التذوق والتعبير والترجمة، ويسمح بتقريب التجربة الإبداعية المحترفة منها بتلك الموهوبة. ويسعى هذا المعرض إلى تخطي مفهوم المصنوعة إلى الرؤية والتأمل والتروي في قراءة المعطيات، وإنتاجها ضمن أيديولوجيات الفرد لا الجماعة، أو تشكيل هذه المونولوجات بطريقة فنية تعتمد على الخط، اللون، الميل، الرمزية، التجريدية، السيريالية، الحداثية، وغيرها. هذا التعدد الذي يبحث عنه المعرض سيكون فرصة لإبراز تيارات فكرية مختلفة، يتحدث فيها كل فنان عن انفعالاته اتجاه تعابير أو أحداث شهدتها حواسه أمام جمهوره من متذوقي الفن، كما يتيح استدراج الإنسان الفنان برؤيته وشغفه الخاصين وتجربته غير المؤطرة بعنوان أو نسج معين.

وفي إطار انتقاء المواهب الفنية والإبداعات المشاركة، فإن لجنة تقييم مختصة ستكون قائمة على انتقاء أجمل الأعمال وأكثرها نضجًا أو فرادة، وتتكون من الفنان الشيخ راشد بن خليفة آل خليفة الذي يترأس اللجنة، وعضوية كل من: الفنان البريطاني ذي الأصول الفلسطينية عمر القطان وهو منتج ومخرج أفلام وخبير تطوير ثقافي، د. نازان أولسر مدير متحف سبانجي في اسطنبول، ود. غالينا أندريفا فنانة وخبيرة ثقافية، مما يتيح رؤى ومداخلات فنية تتقاطع في تكوينها وخلفياتها، وتعكس في اختياراتها رؤية فنية ناقدة ومعاينات خبيرة ذات باع طويل في الاطلاع على التجارب التشكيلية بكل أصنافها.

In continuation of the trajectory of the arts scene in Bahrain, the annual fine arts exhibition is set to take place on 16th January in the Bahrain National Museum, under the patronage of the Prime Minister, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. First established in 1972, this 39th episode takes place within the environs of the programme of Manama, the Capital of Arab Tourism 2013.

Free of any particular title or artistic direction, artists’ contributions this year have been encouraged to be as spontaneous and uninhibited as possible in order to allow for a wide-ranging artistic and cultural debate, unconfined by any formal restrictions or boundaries. Full artistic expression will be showcased unhindered for local audiences.

This year, the fine arts exhibition will act as an innovative form for debate in which the different artistic monologues will have an exclusive opportunity to communicate according to the forms chosen, from calligraphy to surrealism and abstract and modernist representations to more traditional cultural expressions. Representing an opportunity to highlight different schools of thought, artists’ perceptions and ideological backgrounds will be evoked freely in order to instigate a dialogue about pluralism and artistic visions, experiences and expressions.

Tasked with assessing the most notable entries in relation to artistic talent and creativity, a specialised jury will select the finest works both in terms of maturity and originality. Chaired by renowned Bahraini artist, Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the jury boasts members: Palestinian-born, British artist Omar Al-Qattan - a film producer and director and cultural development expert; Dr. Nazan Olcer the Director of the acclaimed Sabanci Museum in Istanbul; and Dr. Galina Andreeva, artist and heritage expert. This combination of artistic and intellectual collateral allows the expression of myriad representations and artistic evocations to intersect in the adjudication process and critical appraisals of the varying entries.

Al Ghalia WLL is a Bahrain-based company, started in 1997, which

owns and operates 7 highly successful outlets and which is

passionate about children’s charities and giving back to the community.

In 2006, the management team at Al Ghalia came up with a unique

way of raising money for children’s charity.

Each year, for 7 months of that year Al Ghalia will donate an entire

day’s revenue from one of its outlets including both branches of

Café Lilou, Lilou Artisan Patisserie, Mezzaluna,

Monsoon, Zoe and Dessange.

Each year new charities are chosen to receive the amounts raised.

100% of the revenue generated is utilized for the growth of the

selected charitable organizations and for whatever developmental

programs the charities have planned for.

This month, on the 26th of February Al Ghalia are supporting SMILE

organization. SMILE is a non-profit that helps children with cancer.

The amount raised will be used to achieve the projects below

1. Painting the hospital rooms for the children (different theme for

each room)

2. Fitting out and equipping Playroom for the children in Salmaniya

Medical Center.

3. Building and equipping Parent’s room in Salmaniya Medical Center

4. Design and building a garden for the Salmaniya Medical Center.

5. Providing medically equipped rooms at the child own home.

The event is organized by Bahrain Cancer Society jointly in cooperation with Rotary Club of Manama at Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park in Hidd at 5:30 pm on Friday, February 24, 2012.


The main aim of the event is to highlight the importance of regular check-ups and to detect cancer in its early stages ... Early detection saves lives.

تعود الإثارة مرة أخرى إلى حلبة البحرين الدولية "موطن رياضة السيارات في الشرق الأوسط" وذلك يوم الجمعة المقبل الموافق 24 فبراير 2012 مع فعالية "الحلبة لك" وسيتمكن الجماهير ومحبي السرعة من فرصة التحول إلى مقعد السائق واختبار المتعة والإثارة من خلال القيادة على مضمار الحلبة الدولية .

وسيشهد يوم الجمعة فعاليات كثيرة والتي ستكون متواصلة طوال اليوم كفعاليات الحلبة لك للسيارات والدراجات النارية، جولات اللومينا V8 والكاترهام، تجارب الكواد وتجارب من مقعد الراكب بسيارات اللاندروفرز. وستكون هناك الكثير من الفعاليات الترفيهية للأطفال.

سيكون بإمكان عشاق رياضة السيارات قيادة مركباتهم أو دراجتهم النارية الخاصة ولأول مرة على مضمار حلبة التحمل البالغ طوله 6.299 كيلو متر. حيث ستكون هذه التجربة لا تنسى مع إعطائهم جو من الإثارة التي لا يمكن وصفها على مضمار حلبة الصخير العالمية، وبإمكان الراغبين في قيادة مركباتهم على مضمار الحلبة التمتع بهذه التجربة لمدة يوم كامل أو نصف يوم، حيث بالإمكان تجربة السيارة على مضمار الحلبة ليوم كامل من الساعة التاسعة صباحاً وحتى الرابعة عصراً. فيما بإمكان الأشخاص الراغبين في خوض التجربة لنصف يوم قيادة المركبات إما من التاسعة صباحا وحتى الثانية عشر ظهراً، أو الواحدة ظهراً وحتى الرابعة عصراً.

وقبل الانطلاق على حلبة البحرين الدولية سوف يتم فحص جميع المركبات والدراجات النارية، إلى جانب إعطاء السائقين تعليمات السلامة لما يقارب العشرين دقيقة مع عدد من المدربين المؤهلين لمناقشة قواعد وتقنيات القيادة وجوانب السلامة وكيفية التصرف في حالة الطوارئ.

ولقيادة السيارة ليوم كامل ستكون رسوم المشاركة بدفع مبلغ وقدره 85 دينار بحريني، وللمشاركة لنصف يوم دفع مبلغ 60 دينار بحريني. مع أخذ فرصة الحصول على تخفيض في حال تم الحجز في وقت مبكر قبل يوم الفعالية، وذلك فقط بـ 50 دينار لقضاء نصف يوم عند الحجز المسبق.

A full day’s programme of fun and excitement has been lined up for Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) Open Track Day, which takes taking place this Friday (February 24, 2012) at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ in Sakhir.

In this widely popular event, members of the public will have the chance to take their very own road cars or motor bikes out for a spin along the same circuit raced on by some of the world’s most talented racing drivers. This unique activity gives the participant a first-hand experience of what it is like to push their vehicle to its very limit, all while enjoying the thrills within a safe and controlled environment.

A special treat awaits participants in this upcoming Open Track, as the activity will be held along BIC’s 6.299-kilometre Endurance circuit.

This is the first time that the event is going to take place on the extended track, giving regular participants a change from driving on BIC’s 5.412km Grand Prix circuit which is mainly used on Open Track Day.

The Endurance track comprises 23 turns, eight more than the Grand Prix circuit, and four straights, the longest of which is 1.090km. The track’s width measures between 14 and 22 metres.

Guests will be able choose between a whole day’s activity and that of a half-day. The full day, from 9am to 4pm, costs BD85 while a half-day, either from 9am to 12noon or from 1pm to 4pm, is BD60. A discount will be given for those who book in advance.

Meanwhile, BIC is offering other thrilling activities on the sidelines of the Open Track. These cater to both die-hard petrol heads as well as average thrill-seekers.

Visitors to Sakhir will be able to enjoy a pair of Passenger Rides in either a Caterham or a Lumina V8 SS race car. The Caterham is an ultra-light and supremely quick open-top vehicle, while the powerful V8 Lumina SS has been built in the mirror image of a V8 Supercar and it can reach speeds of nearly 270kph – a mind-boggling pace that will truly get the heart racing.

Those looking for a different kind of adrenaline rush can opt for BIC’s off-the-track experiences. They can take on either the mesmerizing off-road course in a Land Rover LR4 or hop onto a Quad Bike for an enjoyable drive in the desert.

The Land Rover LR4 Passer Ride will take you through BIC’s world-renowned 5.3km off-road course which features nearly 30 tantalising obstacles that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The drive on a Quad Bike will see you charge down an exciting desert trail, complete with all the twists and bumps of the challenging terrain.

The cost of these side events is BD12 per person for the Caterham, V8 Lumina SS and Land Rover LR4 Passenger Rides. The Quad Bike drive costs BD15. Each session will last roughly a half-hour.

Also at BIC on Open Track Day will be plenty more to do for those looking to spend the day out with their families. A bouncy castle for children will be on hand, while music will be playing all throughout day, setting a jovial mood of the event.

على مدى عقود تم وضع تصور المدن وبنيت أساسا من وجهة نظر مادية (البنى التحتية، والمباني، والمواد، والهندسة ...) وتم تناسي المواطنين.
المدينة هي كائن معقد يتكون من عدد من الطبقات المتداخلة، والروابط والتفاعلات بين جميع مكوناتها. كيف يمكننا تعزيز التفاعل والإبداع وقوة التظيم بين الناس؟
فعالية "استكشاف التفاعل الإجتماعي" تهدف إلى خلق سيناريوهات جديدة من هذه المبادئ، والعمل مع الفضاء العام، واستكشاف المفاهيم الأساسية و  الأدوات المناسبة.
كالتصميم والتكنولوجيا، والمشاركة، والتواصل.
خلال ورشة العمل سنقوم بتجربة تفاعل الجمهور مباشرة، المسجلة من خلال WHATIF.es، وهي أداة رقمية تم تصميمها من قبل    Ecosistema Urbano وذلك لتعزيز المشاركة  في المدن والإبداع الجماعي وتسهيل التشاور والاستكشاف وتصور المهام من خلال مجموعة كبيرة ومتنوعة من البيانات.

EXPLORING SOCIAL INTERACTION aims to create new emergent scenarios from these principles, working with the public space, exploring the basic concepts to characterize it and the new tools that activate it: design, technology, participation, regeneration and communication.
During the workshop we'll experiment direct public interaction, empowered and registered through WHATIF.es, a digital tool designed by Ecosistema Urbano to promote urban participatory and collective creativity processes facilitating consultation, exploration and visualization tasks of a great variety of data

هذه الورشة ستركز على تعليم طرق الطباعة على الورق. نود أن ننوه الى جميع المهتمين والذين لم يشاركوا في الورشة الأولى للطباعة، أن يحضروا قبل يوم من بداية الورشة حتى يتعلموا المبادىء الاساسية للطباعة باستخدام الشاشة الحريرية.

الشاشة الحريرية هي واحدة من تقنيات الطباعة التي تعتمد على استخدام قوالب/الإستنسل لنقل التصميم. وتستخدم الشاشة الحريرية للطباعة من قبل العديد من فناني العصر الحديث ومنهم "وارهول" والذي دمجها مع عملية التصوير الفوتوغرافي. وفي هذه الورشة سيتعلم المشاركين كيفية استخدام التقنية أعلاه للطباعة على الورق.

أحمد إمام هو فنان مصري مقيم حالياً في المملكة العربية السعودية، حصل على بكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة- قسم الجرافيك، 2003، وهو عضو في نقابة الفنانين التشكيليين، وعضو الجمعية المصرية للفنون التشكيلية واستخدامات الجرافيك. شارك الفنان إمام في أكثر من 60 معرض محلي ودولي. وحصل على عدة جوائز وشهادات على أعماله الفنية. الفنان أحمد محاضر ومقيم للعديد من الورش الفنية الخاصة بفن بالجرافيك منذ عام 2004.

The emphasis of this workshop will be to teach the technique of printing on Paper. All those who did not participate in the previous silkscreen workshop are required to come one day before to get a basic introduction to the technique of Silkscreen printing.

Silk screen is one of the printing techniques that involve the use of templates/ stencils to transfer the design. Silk screen printing is used by many modern artists including" Warhol" who have combined it with photographic process. In this workshop the participants will learn hove to use the above technique to print on paper.

Ahmad Emam is an Egyptian artist, who currently lives and works in Saudi Arabia.

He received his degree in Fine Arts- Graphic Department, 2003. He is a member of the Union of Egyptian Artists and a member of the Egyptian Society for Fine Arts and the Graphic art. The artist participated in more than 60 local and International exhibitions. He received several certificates and awards for his works, and he is a well experienced Lecturer and residents of several technical Graphic workshops since 2004.
