يشمل النشاط زيارة إلى الموقع الأثري في برج البحر وقناة قلعة البحرين بالقارب. البرج هو الجزء الوحيد المتبقي من القلعة الشاطئية التي تم بناؤها 1600 م شمال- غرب من تل قلعة البحرين. القناة الطبيعية تمتد لأكثر من 16 هكتار، تمرّ بالشق المرجاني الطبيعي الذي يحيط بالموقع. يعتقد بأن وجود هذه القناة الطبيعية كان السبب وراء بناء القلعة في مكانها الحالي للاستفادة منها للوصول الى الشاطئ. وقد تمّ التخلّي عن الموقع في القرن 16 عندما انهارت وانجرفت القناة . - للتسجيل للرحلة أرسل معلوماتك و رقم الاتصال للموقع الالكتروني qab_sitemuseum@moc.gov.bh

A boat visit to the Archaeological site of the Sea Tower & Channel of Qal’at al Bahrain. The will be talk in English & Arabic about the underwater archeology and sea tower. The tower is the only remaining part of a sea fortress that was built 1600m North-West of Qal’at al Bahrain Tell. The natural channel of over 16 hectares went through a coral reef. It’s believed to be the reason that the Fort was built at its exact location, profiting from the natural channel that enabled the access to the coast & was eventually silted over time leading to the abandon of the site. - To register please send your name and contact details to QAB_SITEMUSEUM@MOC.GOV.BH

يبحث معرض " في حِوارٍ" في تأملات وانعكاسات التغيير الاجتماعي في أعمال الفنان راشد آل خليفة، والفنان ابراهيم شريف، ومنذر أحمد ووليد الستي. فمن خلال تعاملهم وتحكمهم الجديد في المواد الفنية، تمكن هؤلاء الفنانين من الاستجابة والتعبير على المتغيرات التي طرأت على محيطهم الاجتماعي الخارجي. كما عكست أعمال هؤلاء الفنانين آثار التغييرات الاجتماعية والسياسية على نفسية الفنان من خلال رحلة البحث في الذات وتأمل ما يقع حولهم.

" في حِوارٍ" هو معرض يبرز آخر أعمال الفنان راشد آل خليفة والفنان وليد الست، حيث استخدم كل منهما " الخط" كأداة أساسية للتعبير الفني. وهكذا، أصبح تداخل ورمزية الأشكال الخطية بمثابة صدىً يعكس رغبة الفنانين في القطع مع أيدولوجيات الرسم التقليدي، بالإضافة لاستخدامهم الابداعي للفضاء والمساحة الفارغة التي تُستعمل فيها المواد. وأصبح العمل الفني للفنانين وكأنه يدعو المشاهد للتساؤل حول عملية التفاعل بين الخلفية والواجهة في اللوحة الفنية حيث تصبح الحركات والنقرات البسيطة والخطوط المرهفة متناغمة مع المساحة الثقيلة التي تحملها. كما يبرز المعرض أيضا أعمال فنية لتعابير الوجه والحركة والاحاسيس للفنان منذر أحمد والفنان ابراهيم شريف، والتي تُبين كيف أن التشكيلات المبهمة والتي يصعب التمييز بينها ليست في الواقع سوى إلا انعكاسا لغموض العديد من المسائل الاجتماعية والدينية المعاصرة في وقتنا الحالي.

“In Dialogue” investigates the influence of social change on the work of Rashid Al Khalifa, Abdulrahim Sharif, Modhir Ahmed and Walid Siti. With their newfound manipulation of their materials, they have in turn responded to the ongoing changes occurring within their external environment. Through a process of self-exploration, their resulting work reflects the effect of sociopolitical change on the artist’s psyche.

‘In Dialogue’ presents Rashid Al Khalifa and Walid Siti’s recent work- where they each employ ‘line’ as the basic element of expression. The interplay and delicacy of these linear forms echo the artists’ desire to break from traditional painting, as well as their consideration of the surface on which materials are used. Their resulting work appears to invite the viewer to question the interplay between background and foreground, where simple strokes and fine lines are just as relevant as the weighty surface that carries them. Furthermore, we are presented with the gestural and emotionally charged work of Modhir Ahmed and Abdulrahim Sharif; where the often indistinguishable formations resonate the ambiguity of various contemporary social and religious issues that are prevalent today.

كان السيد شكيب سبانجي مؤسس متحف شكيب سبانجي (الملحق بجامعة سبانجي)  أحد أهم رجال الأعمال في تركيا. وقد بدأ بِجَمع مجموعة مُقتَنَياته في سبعينيّات القرن العشرين، وسَرعان ما أصبح جامِعاً مُتَحمِّساً للأعمال الفنيّة، وقام بتأسيس متحفٍ ليتَسنّى للجُمهور فُرصة رُؤية مَجموعَتِه والاستِمتاع بها.  وقد عُرضت مجموعته في كبرى المتاحف والمعارض الأووروبية والأمريكية منذ عام  1989 .

في عام 2002 قام سبانجي بالتبرع بمنزل العائلة الواقع في حيّ أميغران القَديم المُطلّ على مَضيق البوسفور لجامعة سبانجي لاستخدامه كمتحف لعرض مجموعة مُقتَنياته من فنّ الخطّ التُركيّ والإسلاميّ، والتذهيب والتجليد والرُسومات تحت رعاية جامعة سابانجي لتتماشى والمعايير الأكاديميّة والمُقارَبات المُعاصِرة التي تُدار المتاحف وِفقَها، وذلك بِهَدِف الوُصول إلى الجُمهور كافّة من مُختَلف الفِئات العُمريّة وتَعريفِهِم بتِلك الفُنون التَقليديّة التُراثيّة. تضم هذه المجموعة عددا من الكتب النادرة والمخطوطات واللوحات التي تعود لكبار الخطاطين في الدولة العثمانية.  ويعتبر متحف شكيب سبانجي المتحف الوحيد في تركيا الذي يمتلك مخطوطات مذهبة ضمن عروضه الدائمة. كما يمتلك المتحف مجموعة رائعة من المصاحف  وكتب الأدعية التي  يعود تاريخها إلى بدايات القرن 16 وحتى القرن 20. ذلك بالإضافة إلى عدد من الألبومات والقطع، والتي تعرض نماذج منها في المعرض الذي يحتضنه متحف البحرين الوطني تحت عنوان :  خمس مئة عام من الخط الاسلامي - روائع من متحف شكيب سابانجي  كما يضم المعرض  لوحات لمناظر طبيعية تُصور مدينة اسطنبول رُسمت من قبل رسامين عاشوا في هذه المدينة خلال القرنين 19 و20.

The founder of Sakıp Sabancı Museum, which is attached to Sabancı University, was the late Sakıp Sabancı, one of Turkey's leading businessmen. In the 1970s he began to collect paintings by Turkey's leading artists and foreign painters who worked for the Ottoman sultans, as well as illuminated manuscripts and calligraphy. Since 1989 the collection has been exhibited in major European and American museums. In 2002 Sakıp Sabancı donated his historical mansion in Emirgan—a district on the Bosphorus in Istanbul—where he had lived with his family for many years to Sabancı University to use as a museum.

Today Sakıp Sabancı’s collection of rare books and calligraphy is exhibited at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM). This is the only museum in Istanbul and Turkey with a permanent exhibition of illuminated manuscripts and calligraphy. Among the private collections in Istanbul, SSM has the finest collection of Turkish-Islamic arts of the book. It is said that "The Koran was revealed in the Hejaz, read in Cairo and written in Istanbul", and the truth of this saying is confirmed by the exquisite manuscript Korans and prayer books produced in the Ottoman capital. Selected examples of illuminated Korans and prayer books dating from the 16th to early 20th centuries, with calligraphy by Istanbul artists, some of whom served as calligraphy teacher to the sultans, large calligraphic panels, again by Istanbul artists, that were hung on walls like paintings, and albums of calligraphic compositions will be included in the planned exhibition in Bahrein. SSM also has a collection of outstanding examples of Turkish painting. Examples of those depicting the arts of the book and calligraphy and landscapes in oil showing Istanbul and its environs by painters who lived in Istanbul in the 19th and 20th centuries have also been selected to show in the exhibition.

على مدى أكثر من أربعين عاماً برز المعرض السنويّ للفنون التشكيليّة كحدث ثقافي مهمّ يعكس في كل عام ما توصّلت إليه منجزات مبدعي البحرين في مجال التشكيل وأظهر ت وزارة الثقافة كمنظّم يكتنز خبرة هذه السنوات لخدمة الثقافة في البحرين. و يكتسب هذا المعرض أهميته وطموحه في بلورة التجربة التشكيليّة التي تمثّل في سياق الحركة الثقافية ظاهرة متحركة وغنية بالمفاجآت والمواهب الجديدة، إضافة إلى التحوّلات التي يمكن مصادفتها لدى بعض التجارب التي تطرح علينا جديدها المختلف في كل مرة.

ويشارك في المعرض السنوي  أغلب فناني البحرين الذين يمثّلون مختلف المدارس والتيّارات الفكريّة والأساليب الفنيّة ويتعاملون مع شتّى الخامات الفنيّة ويعبّرون عن مختلف الأجيال التي توالت على حركة الإبداع التشكيلي المعاصر في البحرين ، فإلى جانب الروّاد، هناك فنّانون من جيل الوسط وفنّانون من جيل المبدعين الجدد الذين يمثّلون امتداداً للروّاد وأمل البحرين في تشكيل رائد جديد.

وتعلّق وزارة الثقافة أهميّة خاصة على فرادة وتميّز معرض هذا العام لتعبيره الواضح عمّا وصلت إليه حركة التشكيل في البحرين من تقدّم ونضج فنيّ عبر أربعة عقود من تاريخ تأسيسه وتكريسه كحدث ثقافيّ مهمّ يستعدّ له الفنانون طوال العام وينتخبون خيرة انتاجهم كي يشاركوا معاً في عرض المشهد التشكيلي العام بعناصر غاية في التنوع، الأمر الذي يمنح هذا المعرض طبيعة المهرجان الزاخر باللون والخطّ والكتلة والشكل وفضاء المخيّلة.

The Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition has become an important annual event. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition is a celebration which reflects Bahrain’s rich cultural and civilizational heritage and development.

For the past 40 years, the Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition showcases the works of established and rising talents in the field, each with its own unique artistic style and flair that add to the overall experience. Together, the exhibited works illustrate cultural trends and changes within the local artistic scene.

This year, the Ministry of Culture will focus on demonstrating the tremendous strides made by the fine arts movement over the past four decades through the lens of Bahrain Fine Arts Exhibition.  Artists from all across Bahrain will be exhibiting their finest works in what is expected to be a memorable celebration of creative diversity and limitless imagination.
